"Now Appearing in the Center Ring....."

If Cindy and I were ringmasters, we would probably sound like this: "Now appearing in the center ring..... The Hansen Children - and Their Lives at School!" But since we're not ringmasters, but masters of having to juggle calendars, there are no mega horns (well, actually there are mega horns but only when it's time to get the kids to do their chores) and this blog is about some school life ....

Benjamin and Erik are in the Onalaska Luther High part of the center circle. While both are juggling foreign languages, Ben = Spanish, Erik = Latin, we (more Cindy than Tony) are very thankful that when they get home safely after football practice they are still speaking English!!!

Joshua, Katy and Nick are in the St. Matthew's Elementary School part of the circle. For them, it's the same school circle but different year and classes. They're all in multigrade class rooms. They're liking being back at school; they're making some new friends - - - - holy cow, don't they know everyone yet after at least 4 years????

Sam is in his own little circle that absorbs both other circles of his siblings in its own way. Yes, this is so true. For Sam every day is a new adventure. His day care mom's day care is called, "The On the Go Gang." So, after GOING all day long, Sam is STILL going when we pick him up and the momentum causes him to ask, (you've got to say this like Sam.... "Where we going now? St. Maffew's or Loofer? OR Are we going home?" Then, if we are going home his next question is, "Can we go golfing? I'll use my chipper!" (This subject IS a whole other blog / circle of the circus).

But today is Sunday. No school. Did we get a rest from the circus??? For a short while, yes, at the Lord's house. What a great hour of 'rest.' But after that.... hold on!!!

More of that circle in a day or two. HA!! Gotcha!! Now you have to come back to find out what happened and see the pictures! Until then "Semper Ubi, Sub Ubi." Ask Erik what that means.
