...When you're having fun, and even when times are BUSY! Wow! I just wanted to 'blog ya' to let you know that the Hansens are still alive and doing.
We've had quite a list of events happen since the last blog.
1) Ben tore his left leg MCL. Ouch. He's about healed now and is about two weeks ahead of schedule, but it sure is different seeing our oldest in pain, agony, and in rehab.
2) Football is done; basketball is on!! Josh & Katy start for the St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Grade School teams. Ben and Erik just started practice at Luther. Ben will have to wait to suit up til after he gets the 'o.k.' from the doc.
3) The summer clothes are packed away; the winter clothes are out in force. Wow, it's cold. Even someone (me) who's grown up in MN and WI says it's cold. It could be that my blood just dreams of being in Puerto Vallarta OR I'm just getting older and like my warmth. I'd have to say that the dreamer agrees with the realist - we don't like getting cold this fast.
4) Kaska's getting big. She's still our puppy, but wow can she grow and go. Sam says she really 'goes' outside - you can read into this statement about anything you want and you'll be correct.
5) Halloween was an true Christian Experience. Our church hosted and sponsored an All Hallowed Eve 4 Kids. We had about 20 guests that night who came for the safety, fun and great candy. Many of our own children from church came, but there were two families who came that I'd never seen before. This will be a great outreach tool for our church and for our family to get involved with.
6) Big Ten Football is great! We were able to attend two Big Ten games in November. Northwestern vs. Minnesota and Michigan vs. Minnesota. Cindy's brother Perry has two sons that play. Adam Hahn plays for Northwestern and Austin Hahn plays for Minnesota. We really had a good time watching and thank the Hahns for their generosity of sharing their family tickets.

These items just chip away at the top of the iceberg. As time goes by, we'll update more. Have an awesome day and Thanksgiving! God's continued blessings to you all.
