It's Called "Promenade" for Reason!

It came. Ben attended. Ben had a fun time! Ben's first promenade for Luther High School was last Friday downtown, La Crosse, WI. The weather was terribly cold, damp and windy as you will see with some of the girls' looks on their faces.

Despite the cold, Ben and the Jr's and the Sr's had a great time. The promenade of the students was not necessarily one of Ben's most favorite moments, but posing for the pictures with his classmates, his football team, baseball team and a couple of candids wasn't that bad!

Waiting to get onto the paddle wheel boat left something to be desired. It was cold by then. Afterward, the meal at the Radisson and the trip one of the student's house for fun into all hours of the night was awesome. Enjoy the pictorial history!

Ben and a few of the many Jr. boys who did not take a date. Actually, God blessed this class with a ratio of boys to girls 2:1.

This is a picture of Ben and his baseball team. The girls are the book keepers for the team!

Ben and P.B. (Pastor Billitz). P.B. is Ben's baseball coach and also one of his teachers (most favorite) at school. This was taken while in the baseball group.

COLD! This was a l o n g wait for the boat. The trip was fun! It really wasn't that cold once the boat got moving and was in amongst the trees along the banks of the Mississippi.
Ben could tell you more, but these were all the pictures we were able to take before the boat left, we got cold, and our appetites would get the best of us.
